Want to make sure everyone knows WE PLAY AT HOME the next three Saturdays! Saturday, March 31st Lobos vs Denver University 11:00 am Robertson Field and Saturday, April 7th Lobos vs Air Force 11:00 am Robertson Field. Admission is free for both matches. We created several good chances, but didn’t find the net. The pace and demands of a high level match are very different than training sessions! Lots of positives and we won’t face a team of this level till next spring! 8 days of spring break followed the match and we are 10 days back into training. 1-1 at half, but we let the game slip away the final 45 minutes, giving up 3 goals which we should have done a better job with. Liked a great deal of what I saw from our team. Player salary budget one million plus! Put ourselves in a tough situation: hadn’t played in 4 months, veteran professional opponent with 8 games under their belts…tough loss. The boys are putting in the work and are ready for the next 4 weeks! We opened our spring schedule with a tough road match March 10th vs Phoenix Rising, a USL Professional team looking to join MLS. NEW MEXICO SOCCER: UPCOMING SPRING MATCHES … TWO MORE EXCITING RECRUITS … LOBOS IN THE PROS Hope everyone can join us for another exciting match vs a top opponent.
